プレシーズンの対Capalab戦、結果から言うと4-2の勝利！

試合前から厳しい試合になるとは予想していましたが、チームはしっかりと機能し、最高の結果を先週に続き出せました！

試合開始の20分くらいは相手の三人のMFにスペースをうまく使われて中盤でプレーしたIgorと僕に相当な負担がかかっていましたが、FWのPatrickに少し守備の意識を持たせることで中盤支配に成功。

これが勝利に繋がったと思います！

ただgameの中でも会話不足から起こるmissが非常に多く自身を含めて修正していかなければいけないと痛烈に感じています。でも、4-2の勝利に決勝点をマークし悪くない試合でした！

得点後に両足が攣り交代した部分以外は良かったと思います！笑

次戦は公式戦ではなく本当の意味でのPre-season matchが今週の日曜日に下部leagueのチームとあります。

練習試合ですが、シーズン前は息を合わせる絶好の機会なのでしっかりと調整していい結果を残せるように頑張ります！

Sliver Boots杯の第三戦は来週火曜日にLionsスタジアムでTaringaと18:30からです！

この下の写真はAsian Cup 2011のJapan vs South Koreaの試合をブリスベンの市街のパブで観戦した時。周りは韓国人の大応援団で皆『テーハミング！』と絶叫していました！

Silver Boots Cup against Capalaba

Game against capalaba, it’s always hard to beat them because basically all field players have good physical strength and techniques and also they all know how to use them in the game.

For the result of the game, we won by 4-2! To be honest, we all did great job through the game and no one didn’t lose concentration on what we needed to do.

At the beginning, especially first 20 minutes was a kind of tough moment for us because Capalaba’s midfielders were consist of 3 plays even thought we had only 2, who are me and Igor, so before we got control the game, they dominated middle of the park due to extra player.

As soon as we realized they have extra midfielder, I asked Patrick who is our new signing striker, to drop off a bit to catch extra man.

It worked very well and we got pace and could control middle of the field which led us to win this game.

On the other hand, there were many mistakes which is basically arose by lack of communication such wrong timing passes, timing of pushing up of DF’s and wrong decision wrong area. Although these mistakes should’ve fixed during the game, most importantly we got result and also I scored winning goal so I was happy with what we did.

Our next game will kick off at Brisbane Lions Stadium at 18:30!

こんにちは、今Australiaは先日までの大洪水で大変な被害を受けました。

特にIpswichとToowoomba という地域は死者も出ました。会社のオーナーであるグレンの母親がIpswichに住んでいるので、洪水が発生した二日後には現地に向かい掃除を開始しました。

現地に着いたときたくさんの人々が大変な状況にあるとはじめて実感しました。というのも家具のほとんどが玄関口に置かれそのどれもが泥だらけ。それに冷蔵庫、テレビといった電化製品も全て使いもにならない状態になっていました。

自身が働いているBrisbane Marketは今回の洪水発生地域でも最悪の被害を受けた地域です。市場全体に２メートルを超す水で覆われました。

冷蔵庫を明けたときの匂いは一生忘れないし、あの光景は本当に言葉を失いました。グレンは今回の洪水で車、冷蔵庫、パソコンそれにofficeを失いました。

この状況でも黙って泣いている場合ではないので必死に掃除を始め、ようやく今週の月曜日から営業を開始しました！お客さんからの要望も多数あり、それにお互いが助け合って復興していこうという想いを感じる事ができ今は仕事をこういう状況ですが楽しんでいます。

実は昨夜プレーシーズンのカップ戦『シルバーブーツ杯』の初戦Brisbane Olympic戦がありました。結果は2-1の勝利！洪水の影響で練習をあまりできなかったんですが、いいスタートを切れました！

一つ目の冷蔵庫。

全て使い物にならなくなりました。

泥水の形跡まで洪水は水位を上昇。

完全に見違えたような景色。

掃除中は各テレビ局のヘリコプターが何度もこの地域にきていました。

これは掃除三日目。だいぶキレイになりました！

QLD Floods 2011

It has been unbelievable since last week – as you might have seem on news, floods this time happened in Brisbane was absolutely disaster, especially area called City, West End, Rocklea, New Farm, Toowoomba and Ipswich.

My boss, Glenn’s mother lives in Ipswich so we went there to cleanup his mother’s house last Friday morning. When we got there, there were many people suffered from cleanup because they all needed to take off almost all of furniture and electrical stuff like refrigerator, TV and washing machine because they were all underwater.

As for Brisbane market where I work, it’s located in one of the worst damage area by this floods – entire market was more than 2 meter high underwater during the floods.

It was shocking view of the office in front of the shed when we got there because it fell over and all windows were broken but it was just beginning. When we open the cold room, all stocks were rotten, smelly and muddy, which we didn’t expect this horrible situation before we got there so we were totally speechless.

I really remember that the cold room was well organized, tidy and there were freshness products there but after the floods it was just total mess. As you can imagine, Glenn lost vehicles, cold room, all stocks, computer and office which costs fortune even though insurance probably cover some stage.

As soon as we got there we started cleaning up because we just can’t sitting there and crying, as Glenn and me always saying each other, there’s only solution. We need to work on it and sort thing out with thinking and hard work wisely.

Last 5 days, we did cleanup so hard and started trading from a couple days ago because many customers waiting for our products and they also need to run their business.

I guess it might be hard for both of us to running business for a few month but we will be able to recover from this disaster soon.

Due to this flood, we haven’t been able to have proper training session though we had first pre-season match called Silver Boot Cup at Brisbane Lions stadium last night.

We played against Brisbane Olympic last night and we defeated them by 2-1. It was actually good game even though we got some new faces last night. For me, I’m not fit enough so clearly need more physical training so that I will ready for Brisbane Premier League 2011.

今夜Mt.Gravattのクラブハウスで今季2011シーズンについてのMeetingがありました。やはり若い選手を見ると自分の年齢もだいぶ上がってきたなと実感させられます。

監督は昨年に引き続きJeff。彼が言うには、Top, Reserve, Metro関係なく皆にチャンスがあること、それに強い決心を持って参加して欲しいと言っていました。これは若い選手に取ってかなりのモチベーションになったと思うし、それと同時に熱いポジション争いが始まると確信し今からワクワクします。

今シーズンのチーム目標は上位４位以内に入りGrand Finalを戦うこと。

これに向けて日々全力で頑張りたいと思います！

Team meeting for new season 2011

Tonight my team, Mt.Gravatt organized a team meeting for 2011 season at clubhouse and there were many new faces there. Each year, especially, during the pre-season, I always ask myself like “Am I getting old?”

Actually the answer this question is YES because I just can’t find anyone who is actually older than me! Also, competition of getting each positions are really tough because many youngsters are want to play for top team and get good deal from the club.

Anyway, what Jeff (Head Coach) told us is we all need to being determined to achieve what we want through this season and just be prepared enough for the each games because we are all player of Mt.Gravatt regardless of what grade you playing. I really like that because it means we all have chance to play top team and it affects to boost everyone’s motivation!

明けましておめでとうございます！

今年もどうぞ宜しくお願いします！！

昨夜はプライベートで仲良くしているElias（エリアス）の家で友人達と夕食を一緒に食事をしながら大晦日の夜を楽しみました！Eliasは日本でもプロモーション活動をしている、ギリシャのバックグランドを持つミュージシャンです。彼と出会ったのは三年前の全く英語の話せない頃でしたが、それ以来仲良くしている本当にいい友人。そのEliasの奥さんのKaty（ケイティ）が昨夜は皆に料理を作ってくました。ギリシャとオージーのミックスされた各料理は本当においしくて皆でガッツリ頂きました！！

その後、歌あり踊りありで2011年のカウントダウン。異国の地でこういった仲間がいるのは本当にありがたいことです。

2011年シーズン開幕は2月19日。昨シーズンよい結果を残せるように今日からいい準備をしていきます！

これは第一弾！この後更にフルーツ、デザート！最高！

花火で2011年を迎えました！

Happy New Year!!

I hope everyone has great time today.

It was absolutely fantastic New Year Eve last night at Elias’s house with friends and we all had great time together! For Elias, he’s a musician who has sold many CDs in Australia and has also been promoting his music in Japanese music industry.

Anyway, the party kicked off at 7 pm and we had Aussie-Greek fusion dishes because Elias has Greek heritage and his wife, Katy, who is Aussie so it was sort of new experience for us because we could taste two different types of meals at the same time last night! And it was just so tasty!!

After that we did Aussie board game, dancing and singing then count down for 2011. I strongly believe that it will be amazing year 2011 and really would like to achieve what I want this year.
